At Torrents Defence Support, we manufacture high-precision textile products for the defence sector. But we also strive every day to build a working environment based on respect, closeness and commitment.
Today we want to share several real testimonials from people who are part of the team. Because no one better than them can explain what it means to work at Torrents.

Josefina Martínez Jiménez – Garment worker
My job here is to sew bags. I’ve done it before, I do it now, and I love it. I started at Torrents in the 1990s, stayed for a while, then left for personal reasons… but I was delighted to return. And that says it all. If I didn’t feel comfortable, I wouldn’t have come back.
Although the company has grown considerably — bigger, more people, more technology — it still has what I always liked about it: camaraderie, tranquillity, a family atmosphere. Here, they genuinely care about our well-being.
For me, that’s what makes Torrents special. The closeness, the human touch. People sometimes ask me if the company has changed much. And I always reply: it has grown, yes, but the most important things remain the same.
María Reche – Garment worker
“I started at Torrents in 1996 and feel like I’ve spent half my life here. I like sewing, I’ve enjoyed it since I was little, and here I can do it every day with care and precision, because we know that our work is key to everything turning out well.
In recent years, the company has grown significantly, which is evident in the atmosphere, the quality, and the care we take in our work. However, what I value most is the camaraderie. There is a positive atmosphere here, and a sense of closeness. I feel like the team is part of my family.
And yes, we laugh a lot too. There’s always some funny anecdote… those things make coming to work here special.

Sonia Benítez Navarro – Cleaning service worker
I have been at Torrents for just over a year and a half. I had never worked in a company with so many people before. From day one, I have felt very welcome, and that makes all the difference. The atmosphere here is great, and even though I haven’t been here as long as some of my colleagues, I feel like part of the team.
Marisol Gómez López – Garment worker
I remember my first day at Torrents perfectly: I was nervous, but everyone was very kind to me.
I started out without knowing how to do many things, but over time I have held various positions and today I am responsible for checking that the garments are made correctly.
What I value most is how approachable the bosses are—they are also very attentive to detail—and the camaraderie among all of us who make up this great team.
Here, we surpass ourselves every day, and we also laugh a lot. On special days, we’ve even dressed up in costumes, and no one saw it coming! It’s those little things that make coming to work special.

A company that grows without losing its essence
Beyond technology, precision, or production capacity, there is something that has never changed at Torrents: the value of people.
Listening to those who have made this their workplace for years — or who have just joined — reminds us that growing with purpose is possible. And that the best team is not built with machines alone, but with respect, closeness and shared commitment.
