Torrents Defense Support to Support David Campos on His Journey to Los Angeles 2028
Torrents Defense Support and professional mountain biker David Campos have signed a sponsorship agreement with a very special goal on the horizon: Los Angeles 2028.
The agreement marks the beginning of a partnership through which Torrents Defense Support will support David throughout his preparation and development over the coming years, joining him on his journey toward his goal of competing at the Olympic Games.
And we use the word “journey” deliberately. Reaching an event like LA28 is not just about what happens on race day. Before that come the training sessions, training camps, travel, decisions, good results, and difficult moments. There are countless hours of work that are rarely seen but ultimately explain everything that comes afterwards.
That is precisely the journey we want to be part of.
A project that starts now
The signing of the agreement officially marks the beginning of a project that will go far beyond a one-off sponsorship initiative.
Over the coming months, we will follow different stages of David’s preparation and take a closer look at the work behind high-performance sport: how he trains, how he approaches each new stage, and how an athlete prepares for one of the biggest goals of his career.
We want to tell that story too.

A career built through competition
On the international stage, he has achieved five U23 XCO World Cup podium finishes and has recorded 31 professional XCO victories.
His Olympic journey also began at an early age: in 2018, he competed at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. Ten years later, Los Angeles 2028 is now on the horizon as a new goal in his career.
